ALTITUDE: Please note that Cuzco is at the high altitude of 11,000 feet (Machu Pichu is about 3,000 ft. lower). Generally, it is easy to adapt to the high altitude, but if you have specific health concerns, please check with your doctor.
HOTEL: We will be staying at a hotel owned by Wendy's family that was the Hacienda where Francisco Pizarro's daughter was married.
WEATHER: It's the rainy season in Cuzco, so be prepared. Due to the altitude, it might get a bit chilly as well, so bring a jacket.
OTHER TIPS: Consider bringing a separate bag for the trip to Cuzco. |
